I'm a lesbian and I hung out with this girl the other day and we couldn't stop laughing. Maybe we're both nuts because we didn't even know what we were laughing at (at least I didn't). This wasn't a date, we were just hanging out and throughout the whole thing I thought she was straight, because this girl looked straighter than a straight girl, so when she began talking about girls, I was like "YOU'RE GAY?" She was taken aback but looked amused and said "yes, is that offensive or something?" Later on that night, I was hoping she'd kiss me or invite me in. She said "my place is really messy or I'd invite you in and show you around. Maybe some other time?" I nodded, smiled, and waved good bye. She texts me right after non stop.

A couple of days later she was at a b day party and texted me to ask what I was doing. I told her I'm having dinner with a friend, why? you want to do something after? She said yes, if she can break from the party. I guess she couldn't break from it cause we didn't get to see each other but we're hanging out this Saturday and Sunday so... is she into me romantically?

I know some girls are just flirty so I don't want to delude myself into thinking she's into me if she just wants to be friends since being a lesbian, it's hard to tell if a girl wants to make another lesbian friend or wants to be with you romantically.

No that's not true some of us we were lesbian to begin with we just didn't want to accept it or know it at the time . I'll use my self for example I knew I was bisexual since I was eight but I thought it was just a phase because I didn't know that their were others like me at one point in time I thought I was sick or some thing was wrong with me that I went to a therapist for help (no my parents didn't send me I seek on out because I thought they could get lesbian part out of me )
I ended up never getting to see this therapist and continued to struggle with my sexuality in high school I only dated guys and never gave in to the part of me that wanted girls . Even when I was with my last boyfriend I fantasized about being with women but I thought it was wrong so I never gave in but it wasn't until we broke up that I was ready to explore that side of myself and find out what my true sexual orientation and we didn't have a bad break up we were still friends at the time .

What I'm saying is some of us know from the beginning but we don' t do it because we think it's wrong other girls use it as an excuse because they feel hurt and think they can punish the guy by making him think he caused her to turn gay so he can feel awful .

What happens in the college roommate process?
How do they pair people up? Do they just do it randomly, or do you take surveys? Honestly, I cannot tolerate certain kind of people. I cannot have a roommate who smells bad, who is a total geek, goth, punk, ghetto, messy, lesbian, or just totally wack. It's one thing to be friends with them (chances are slim), but to share a room with a person that I have absolutely no common with sounds totally frightening to me. This sounds really bratty and highschool-ish, but it's true. No matter how old I get, I cannot tolerate with complete differences.

When I was going to live in a dorm, my college had a survey asking about yourself. They do try to match you with someone similar (or at least compatible). For example, they did ask about things like my major, if I was very tidy or a night owl, outgoing or shy, etc.

Of course there's always going to be those really strange people that no one would really find themselves compatible with. I mean, they have to put the emo crybaby somewhere, right? Anyhow, if you happen to be the one to be paired with the weirdo, just try to make the best of it. Sometimes people are not always what they seem. You might actually turn out getting along with your roommate.

As for not being tolerate different people, I understand. However, this is real life (or a gateway to it) and you're just going to have to learn to get along with people. You don't have to like everyone, but if you expect to cope with this world you have to start somewhere.

So the holiday ended after 2 night of that but nothing more. I am really feeling like I love this girl because my heart wont stop hurting, i cant breathe or eat or sleep properly. So I spent two days feeling like this before i told her exactly how i felt (except for the i love you part) trying not to freak her out. At first she said something a long the lines of taking it slow as shes never played this game before. I thought ok! I dont mind that as long as I get her. Then we were chatting some more and she tells me how she is fighting with her ex. Now i think they are back together...I dont know what she wants and i feel like i keep getting mixed signals from her. Its ******* my mind up. I really like her and want to be with her, I am willing to leave my bf for her and she knows this, but i still cant get a straight answer...and its killing me!

Ugh, I know how you feel. When I first met my girlfriend I was crazy. I was feeling all kinds of new things, for a girl. And it was...weird. I didn't know how to deal with it. So I understand. First things first. You should tell your boyfriend. Its not fair for him not to know your feelings. Once you do that then take it slow. If she is back with her boyfriend, back away. Be her friend and be there for her, but don't inter fear with what shes doing. I think its natural for you to get these feelings, but you should really think about what your feeling first. Is it love? Or infatuation?
